Taking a sick day

It’s that time of year when sniffles and coughs can be heard just a little more frequently. Now, if it’s just a sniffle or a cough here and there, you’re likely able to carry on at work. But at what point should you throw in the towel? Here are a few signs it may be time to call in a sick day:

Is your judgment impaired?

Will you actually be productive?

Lastly, are you contagious?

If you’re contagious (illnesses such as the flu are contagious), you should stay home out of respect for your co-workers, and certainly, to help you return to a good health state more quickly.
