Jumpstart your New Year's resolution

People often make New Year’s resolutions, but spend the holidays indulging. It’s never too early to begin working towards your goals. Get a jumpstart on your New Year’s resolutions with these helpful tips:

  • Brainstorm your goals, then make a detailed plan to reach them. Narrow goals down so they are manageable and realistic.
  • Share your resolution. Here's a cool Facebook status: Share your resolution with your friends today. Let your friends know that you have a plan to start training for a 5K or want to eliminate fast food drive through windows from your life.
  • If you're trying to kick a nicotine habit, try an app like Quitter or QuitNow.
  • Sign up for a fitness membership in December. Get started now, before the hordes of resolution-seekers hit the gym.
