When a cough turns in to bronchitis

A cough or respiratory infection may seem manageable, but there are cases in which these could turn in to bronchitis. So how do you know if your cough has gone one step further? These are some common symptoms associated with bronchitis: 

  • Coughing
  • Fatigue
  • Mild fever
  • Chest discomfort 

Be sure to see a doctor if your symptoms persist beyond three weeks or you’re experiencing the following: 

  • Trouble sleeping
  • High fever
  • Discolored mucus
  • The cough produces blood
  • Wheezing or shortness of breath
