Making a splash with fish oil

Fish oil is becoming a more popular supplement to diets… but do you know why? Fish oil is filled with the fatty-acid known as Omega-3; yes, this is the good fat. Omega-3 packs a long list of health benefits, including things like: 

  • Decreasing inflammation
  • Evening out skin disorders like eczema and psoriasis
  • Helping to fight bipolar and depression

While boosting your intake of Omega-3 fatty acids, particularly in the form of fish oil, does have many health benefits, consuming too much can lead to adverse health effects. Consult your doctor with any questions regarding fish oil and Omega-3.
