Medical Mission at Home: Hickman County
Our One Healing Community of Volunteers shared their gifts and talents with one of the poorest counties in Tennessee on Saturday, April 12 in Hickman County. There were between 130-150 patients who attended the Medical Mission at Home. We provided nearly 300 patient encounters for medical care, dental care, and vision care. Dental saw 80 patients and provided 122 extractions and 15 fillings. The mobile mammography unit provided 15 screening mammograms and 46 prescriptions were dispensed by the Dispensary of Hope. The day was filled with hope and healing for all who attended this "One Healing Community" event.
Our next Medical Mission at Home is June 14 in Murfreesboro at 1115 Minerva Drive. We hope all who are available will join us in service of those who are poor and vulnerable. God bless you.
